What Remuto knows about you, and what it doesn't.

Written from what the app actually does, field by field. If a sentence here can't be pointed at a piece of the product, it doesn't belong on this page.

There is no account.

Remuto has no sign-up, no password and no login. There is nothing to log into and no profile sitting on a server with your name on it. Your listings, your photographs and your drafts live on your phone.

That shapes everything below. Most of what the app holds never leaves the device at all, and the parts that do leave are the parts that have to: a page you asked to publish, a message you sent to somebody, a payment somebody made to you.

What leaves your phone, and why

Location is asked for once. The app asks the first time you use the Remuto camera on a short-term listing, with a line saying why. It is not asked at launch and not asked for browsing — Browse works from a city you type.

Who else sees it

Ten companies, none of them an advertiser and none of them an analytics firm. Each receives only what its job needs; one of them, Checkr, is not yet switched on.

Railway hosts the Remuto server. Everything the app sends passes through it.
Stripe handles money and identity. A guest's payment settles on the host's own Stripe account — Remuto never holds it. Stripe also runs the optional ID check.
fal.ai runs the models that generate video, and receives the media and the instruction when you ask for one.
Anthropic runs the model that writes captions and scripts when you ask for them, and receives the few words you typed, the tone you picked and the city — never your contacts, your messages or your photographs.
Resend delivers Remuto's email — a booking confirmation, an enquiry, a rent reminder — and receives the address it is sent to and the message itself.
Google supplies the street-level picture beside an address on a published page, and receives the property's coordinates for it.
Shovels supplies the public permit history for a property, and receives an address.
Apple handles the purchase when you buy credits in the app, on Apple's own terms. Remuto learns that a pack was bought, never how you paid.
RentCast supplies the rent estimate and the public property record, and receives an address.
Checkr would run an optional background or tenancy check. It is switched off today. If it is ever switched on, one word comes back — cleared or review — and never the records behind it.

What Remuto never collects

No tracking, ever. No advertising identifier, no ad network, no analytics package, no third-party pixel. The app will never ask for tracking permission because there is nothing to ask for.
No Social Security number. Not for a background check, not for a rental application, not anywhere.
No background-check records. If a check is ever run, the vendor holds the report and the landlord reads it on the vendor's site. Remuto gets one word.
No long-term rent. Rent and deposits on a tenancy move bank to bank between tenant and owner. Remuto never touches them and deliberately does not know whether rent arrived.
No card numbers. Payment happens on Stripe's page, not ours.

How long it is kept, and how to have it deleted

A published listing page stays up until you unpublish it. Messages, applications and stay records are kept while they are in use and for as long as either side might need the receipt.

Deleting the app removes everything held on the phone — every listing, photograph and draft. That is most of it, and it cannot be undone.

To remove what the server holds, email info@remuto.app from the address on the listing, or send the link to the page. We will confirm within seven days and complete it within thirty. Some records have to be kept longer where the law requires it — a completed payment, for example, is a financial record Stripe and we both have to retain.

One caution worth stating. The link to a published page is the key to it. Anyone with the link can see the page, and that is the point of it — it is a page you meant to share.

Children

Remuto is for adults letting and renting property. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18.

Changes, and how to ask

If this page changes in a way that matters, the date below changes with it. Questions, corrections and deletion requests all go to one place: info@remuto.app.

We make money when a host is paid for a real stay, when a lease is signed, and when you buy credits to make something. Not from knowing things about you — there is nothing here to sell and nobody to sell it to.
